For applications using breathable air for only a few
hours a week, the purchase and operation of continu-
ous duty or bottled air systems can be difficult.
When breathable air is required intermittently, the
Nomonox portable disposable cartridge (PDC) purifier
is the system of choice.Each PDC purifier features a cartridge made of a carefully formulated, tested and precisely measured combination of adsorbents, coalescents and catalytic converters. The cartridges are available either wall- or cart-mounted.
Climate control, special process handling and special packaging produce the finest portable unit available. PDCs are excellent where supplied-air respirators are used only occasionally. With no moving parts, and a visual indicator to signal the time to replace the car- tridge, the inexpensive PDC provides exceptional air quality for short-term supplied air applications.
Each purification cartridge contains a special blue moisture-indicating desiccant that gradually fades as the cartridge becomes saturated with water and oil vapor. The actual useful life is most directly determined from the condition of this indicator. Please note, that maximum cartridge life results from the highest inlet pressure and the lowest inlet air temperature.
